All Professional Church Workers’ Conference

Passing the Baton! God’s people are called to be a light to the nations. Special focus is given to instruction of our own children as well as care for all God’s little ones. That has always been challenged by the infamous “Generation Gap.” Communication always has challenges. Those challenges increase when we don’t share similar mindsets. And yet God declares, “Tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” (Ps 78:4)  Learning to understand the mindset of that next generation is critical. This conference is designed to help you “tell” others in each of your various vocations.

You are invited to join other church workers from across the Nebraska District at this year’s All Professional Church Workers’ Conference on October 19 and 20 at The Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln.

The Nebraska District will be combining the Fall Pastors’ Conference and Educators’ Conference in 2017 to host a conference for all church workers in the District. The conference will be held at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. Registration is $130 per person and covers all conference sessions, lunch on Thursday, breakfast on Friday, and snacks. Mark your calendars and plan to attend together as a staff.

Keynotes will be given by Tim Elmore and Andrew McPeak from Growing Leaders. The LCMS Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Task Force will also present.

The conference will also include super-sectionals for select ministry groups as well as 3 smaller breakout sessions covering a wide variety of topics for ministry and education.
