Nebraska District LCMS Nebraska District Office
Laity in Ministry

Marvin Bergman serves as the Coordinator of the Lay Leadership Education Program of the Nebraska District. He is engaged in informing laity of the District of opportunities to grow in one's discipleship, serve as lay leaders in congregations, become assistants to pastors in their ministries, and prepare to enter DELTO (Distance Education Leading to Ordination), which is a non-residential pastoral education program sponsored by the two seminaries of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.

The Lay Leadership Program offers ten courses which seek to equip laity for these roles. Classes are offered on Saturdays during the fall and spring of a year, with courses being offered in Seward and in Norfolk.

For more information, please contact Pastor Bergman at mbergman@cune.edu or contact Kathy at 1-888-643-2961.
