I thank God for the privilege and responsibility of encouraging and overseeing the congregations, schools, ministries, missions, and professional church workers of the Nebraska District. I cherish the prayers of Nebraska District congregations even as Paul did when he said, Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel. Ephesians 6:19.

	Rev. Russ Sommerfeld was chosen by the people of the Nebraska District to serve as their President. As District President, he serves as an advisor to the church workers of the District, as a visitor to congregations and church workers in times of celebration or difficulty, and as a leader in ministry to the members of the Nebraska District.

She can also help you with call documents for ordained ministers, the Pastor’s Information Form and Self-Evaluation Tool for ordained ministers, and candidate pastor placement or vicarage assignments into congregations.
