| Blessed or Stressed: The Fate of the Farm Family Due to a variety of issues, many of which are beyond our control (weather, prices, etc.), our farmers and their families are feeling more stressed than blessed in their vocation these days. In an effort to bring awareness and recognition to dangers of stress and techniques to control or reduce stress, the Blessed or Stressed seminar provides an opportunity to reach out and help farm families. |

| Blenda Keylon MA, LCSW, a keynote speaker for the Blessed or Stressed Seminar, shows farm families how to examine the stress issues and techniques to help gain control. Blenda is a licensed clinical social worker. She has experience working with children, individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with issues of farm dynamics, grief, divorce, abuse, step/blended families, marital conflict, and personality disorders.
She has also facilitated many seminars and groups related to issues concerning the family and is available for consultation and speaking engagements. Blenda actively participatted with her husband in the operation of the family farm for twenty years. She sees her experiences as an asset and telent for working with farm families. She is the mother of five children, fours sons and a daughter. Two of the sons are still on the farm and represent the fourth generation. Her experience of farm life has presetned an understanding that no amount of education could teach. |
