shortened to fit your particular schedule.

Parenting: Joy or Nightmare
This presentation offers an effective approach for parenting children in a God- pleasing way.  It’s an approach that allows children to make mistakes and permit them to live with the consequences of those mistakes. Yet, also expresses the importance of sin and forgiveness.  (A variety of sub-presentations can also be made that are more specific, ex. Early Childhood/ Teens/ etc.)  (Also good info. for discipline in the class room)  Is based upon Love and Logic by Cline and Fay.

God in the Midst of Crisis
The devastation of natural disaster, suicide, physical illness, or a congregation in conflict are a few examples of what can cause us to be in crisis.  In crisis the question is many times raised, “Where is God?”  This presentation will help participants see God in the midst of personal, congregational, and community crisis.  It will help participants to deal with crisis in a way that shares the Gospel of Christ with a hurting world.

Between Prayers: Anxiety
So many Christians keep asking God to free them from their anxiety so they can live a peaceful life.  However, it does not occur to them that between their prayers they are telling themselves things that maintain their anxiety.  Those who struggle with anxiety find it difficult to share their faith with others.  This presentation will help participants identify the things we tell ourselves that lead to symptoms of anxiety.    Anxiety will no longer have controlling power over you.  (other sub-groups are “Between Prayers: Depression” and “Between Prayers: Anger”)

The Struggle of the Heart
At our foundation, is the struggle of the heart.  The things we set our hearts on will influence our lives and behavior.  Why do people, congregations and communities do what they do?  It is a struggle of the heart.  This presentation will help participants examine their hearts, to reveal that which has captured our hearts.  And then discover that which can calm a heart in distress.

Biblical Peacemaking
Due to our sinfulness we will find ourselves in conflict with family, friends and even people at church.  How we respond to conflict will impact our ability to seek and save the lost.  This presentation will first identify the causes of conflict.  Then it will prescribe God pleasing methods to respond to conflict.  Participants will be equipped to outreach to those in conflict in away that will bring Christian peace.

Parents Don’t Have to be the Enemy
Parents and teachers share responsibility for creating a working relationship that fosters children’s learning.  However, that relationship can be unstable and broken, which ultimately has a negative impact upon the child.  Many teachers are anxious about encounters with parents who are not happy.  This presentation will give teachers Biblical tools they can use to create Godly working relationships with parents.

God’s Toolbox
Most of us think that God carries around a very small toolbox.  But a successful carpenter uses many tools, each designed for a particular job.  God has a huge toolbox, and we are those tools in His hands.  And according to our different capacities and different talents, God uses us to serve each other. Participants will learn how God has called them to a particular task of outreach in their community.

God and Boundaries
Dedicated Christians struggle about when it is appropriate to say “No” and set limits.  Church workers burn out and find themselves in personal struggles because of their lack of boundaries.  This presentation will help participants explore biblical boundaries: what they are and how to develop them. (a variety of sub presentations relating to this topic can be done, ex. Boundaries and Children, Boundaries and Spouse, Boundaries and Family, Boundaries and Work.)

Look Who’s Talking
Many times the problem is that nobody is talking.  A husband stops talking to his wife, congregation members stop talking at meetings, the senior pastor stops talking with the school principal.  This presentation will help participants learn skills to maintain healthy communication.

The Church Worker Under the Cross
Church workers are prone to think of themselves as “saviors.”  They try to remain strong, even in the midst of suffering.  They believe (sometimes subconsciously) that this is a great act of faith.  Yet, God has not asked us to be saviors.  He calls us to work under the cross of Christ.  This presentation will help participants live under the cross where our Savior died.

Wholeness of Health
It is important to have a balance in all aspects of our health (Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, Vocational, Intellectual, and Social).  Yet, this is easier said than done.  Keeping a good healthy balance can be a juggling act.  This presentation will explore the various aspects of health and how to maintain a good balance.
