WHO: Nebraska District educators and rostered commissioned workers are invited to attend.

WHAT: The theme “Christ be My Leader” is based on hymn #861 from the Lutheran Service Book and will focus us on personal leadership development and fostering leadership in others.  Keynotes will be given by Michael Armstrong from Franklin Covey on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People; Dr. Jack Preus IV (National Director of People Development at Open Sky Education ) & Rev. Dr. Matt Hoehner (founder of the Character Formation Project); and following up on Tim Elmore’s Marching Off the Map from 2017, a refocus as we look at Gen Z with Rev. Peter Jurchen, blogger & curriculum editor from Concordia Publishing House.

WHERE:  We will meet at Concordia Jr/Sr High School, 15656 Fort Street, Omaha.  Room blocks have been reserved at nearby hotels for those planning to stay in Omaha.

 WHEN:  October 18-19, 2018
