Would you be interested in helping them gain knowledge and practice from a Biblical perspective on how to utilize their gifts to impact your church, community, and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ?

The Nebraska District Lutheran Youth Fellowship Leadership Retreat can help!

Using the biblically based training materials "Teen Leadership Training," the Leadership Retreat equips youth to be leaders in their home congregations, families, high schools, and communities by challenging them to see that they are not the church of tomorrow…they are an important part of the church right now.

Written by youth for youth, and led by youth for youth, "Teen Leadership Training" is the latest LYF resource from the LCMS Youth Ministry Office.   The overnight Leadership Retreat will be led by a group of youth from the Nebraska District who are trained in the curriculum. They will be assisted by Nebraska District DCEs Christine Otte and Carl Eliason.  

Who should attend:  high school youth (completed 8^th grade) with potential and desire to be leaders in their church today and in the future

When is it:  August 5, beginning at 7pm—ending August 6 at 2:30 pm.
(It’s overnight, so bring a sleeping bag and a change of clothes)

Where:  Heartland Lutheran High School in Grand Island (3900 W Husker Hwy)

Cost:  $40 per participant

What will happen:  Youth will be trained in the latest leadership materials as described above, late night pizza on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday are included in the cost, extra activities will be planned to help you get to know other youth from throughout the district

Deadline: All forms and registration fees must be postmarked by July 18.

**Attending churches must send a minimum of one adult leader with their group.**

• And one check made payable to Nebraska District-LCMS
