An Endowment Fund:

• is an asset owned by your congregation or ministry.
• may be a gift received subject to restrictions that your congregation has accepted.
• may have restrictions that were created by the person who made the gift.  
• may have one restriction that states at least part of the gift may not be used immediately.  
• may have other restrictions.
