| Nebraska District Teachers' Conference
"Rooted in Christ" Parents are complaining about a “problem teacher.” Billy and Tommy use foul language in school and their parents are not concerned. Principal Joe purchases a curriculum that the teachers DO NOT WANT. When there is a difference in opinions and values, there will always be the potential for conflict. Unfortunately, conflict normally results in people sinning against each other, which results in broken relationships. There is hope for conflicted situations. Come as a staff to hear about how broken relationships can be healed by being rooted and growing in the reconciliation of Christ. Educators are invited to join other dedicated teachers from across the Nebraska District at this year’s Educators’ Conference on October 20 and 21 at Christ Lutheran Church and School in Lincoln. The theme of the gathering will be Rooted and Growing in Christ, based on Colossians 2:6-7. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Mark Rockenbach, M.Div., MAC, LMHP and Nebraska District LCMS Church Worker Health Executive. He will help us focus on being members of the body of Christ “Rooted and Growing in the Reconciliation of Christ.” Make plans now to attend with your faculty for a conference that promises to offer a time to be refreshed, reconnected, and renewed for ministry! The following registration materials are available through the links on the right:
All completed forms and payments are due back to the District Office by Friday, October 7. |
