LCEF Picnic in the Park—Mahoney State Park, Ashland
In appreciation of our Lutheran Church Extension Fund investors in the Nebraska District, we are hosting an annual LCEF Picnic in the Park on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Nebraska.

Attendance is limited to the first 200 people so please register early. Online registration has begun at lcefcentral.org/picnic. We hope to see you there!

Open House at the District Office
The Nebraska District office invites everyone to come join us on Sunday, August 25 from 1-5 for an open house. Come see the renovations that you, through your generous gifts, have made possible. Enter our new ADA compliant entry, see the boardroom that our district congregations and schools can request to use, see our expanded archives. District President Rev. Rich Snow and our District staff will be there to greet you and give you a tour.

Business Managers’/Treasurers’ Workshop—The Rock Lutheran Church, Seward
If you are an LCMS member who has financial responsibilities within the church, school or other LCMS ministry, you won’t want to miss out on this great opportunity! This one-day event will cover informative topics for both new and experienced leaders. Registration deadline is August 20. Seating is limited, so please register early. Registration is $10 per person (this includes lunch). Assistance with the cost of the registration fee is available upon request by contacting Joyce Bruha at email@example.com.

Concordia Plan Services Portal Training
If you are an LCMS administrator or an LCMS member who is eligible for Concordia Plan Services benefits, you are invited to attend a free CPS portal training beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, following the Business Managers’/Treasurers’ Workshop. A CPS representative will be presenting on portal navigation, registration and a dashboard overview.
Please register by August 20. There is no registration fee and no food will be served during the CPS portal training.
