75th LLL Convention: Called. Equipped. Sent

The 75th Nebraska District LLL Convention is hosted by Zone 6 LLL, and will be held on March 18, at the Holthus Convention Center in York (3130 Holen Ave., York, NE, 68467). The registration fee for the convention is $50 per person before March 1, and $55 per person after March 1. The registration form will be included in the January/February 2017 Nebraska District Reporter, and it can also be downloaded from our website. April 6-7
2017 Administrators’ Conference: Data Driven Decisions

School administrators and early childhood directors are encouraged to register for this year’s Spring Administrators’ Conference on April 6-7, 2017 at Carol Joy Holling Conference & Retreat Center near Ashland. The registration fee covers all conference sessions, lunch and dinner on Thursday, and lodging for Thursday evening. The theme, Data Driven Decisions, will offer sessions for the large group as well as separate tracks for the two groups of administrators to focus on areas specific to their ministry. The theme is based on 2 Corinthians 9:8, and the goal is to encourage administrators to use data to drive their decisions so they might abound in every good work for the Lord and His people whom they serve. Nebraska District Church Worker Retreat with Grace Place Wellness Ministries

Grace Place Wellness Ministries will be holding a Nebraska District Church Worker retreat at the Lied Conference Center in Nebraska City from June 12 to 16. This retreat is for active church workers only. There are 20 available spots (and space to include up to 15 children). There is a $300 registration fee. All Professional Church Workers’ Conference

The Nebraska District will be combining the Fall Pastors’ Conference and Educators’ Conference in 2017 to host a conference for all church workers in the District. The conference will be held at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. Registration is $130 per person and covers all conference sessions, lunch on Thursday, breakfast on Friday, and snacks. Mark your calendars and plan to attend together as a staff.

Keynotes will be given by Tim Elmore and Andrew McPeak from Growing Leaders. The LCMS Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Task Force will also present.

The conference will also include super-sectionals for select ministry groups as well as 3 smaller breakout sessions covering a wide variety of topics for ministry and education.

Students in grades 6-8 are invited to the 2017 Nebraska District Middle School Gathering on November 11-12, 2017 at River’s Edge Convention Center/ Ramada in Columbus.

District Youth Gathering—Omaha

Students in grades 9-12 from Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa District West are invited to the 2017 District High School Youth Gathering – Omaha on November 17-19, 2017 at Embassy Suites in LaVista.
