District Convention — Younes Conference Center, Kearney
The 19th Convention of the Nebraska District LCMS will be held June 15-16, 2018 at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney.
Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15, and delegates are encouraged to register at the Younes Conference Center before worship, which starts at 11:00. Delegates will receive their room assignments upon check-in. Hotel check-in time is at 4:00, and early check-in may not be available.
The worship service will be held before lunch this year, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Holiday Inn Ballroom.

Pre-Retirement Planning Workshop for Concordia Plan Services Members—The Rock, Seward
The Nebraska District and Concordia Plan Services are offering a pre-retirement workshop to help you as you plan for that very important transition in your life: retirement! Start learning what you’ll need to know about making plans for your future.
Workers of all ages who are serving The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (especially those age 50 or older) and their spouses are encouraged to attend this workshop to begin understanding the process of planning for retirement and all that living in retirement entails. The workshop will cover subjects including retirement income and expenses, healthcare in retirement, saving for the future, and planning your retirement lifestyle.
Paul Snyder, Financial Wellness Educator for Concordia Plan Services, will lead this workshop.
