Mark your calendars and make plans to attend Prairie Fire: Building Bridges on Saturday, August 5, at Concordia University, Seward.
The day will be filled with encouragement and practical tools designed to help EVERYONE learn how to build genuine, caring relationships within their various vocations of family, workplace, church, neighborhood, and recreational communities. Breakout sessions will focus on building relationships with disconnected members; neighbors, friends and co-workers; military families; those in conflicted situations; our Muslim neighbors and more. 2017 Nebraska District Treasurer/Business Manager Workshop
LCMS members with financial responsibilities within churches, schools, or other ministries are invited to attend this one day event sponsored by LCEF. It will cover topics such as insurance, accounting, and taxes. This workshop will also give you a chance to network with others who serve in similar positions. Additional details and online registration will be available in mid-August. The event will be held at the Eugene T Mahoney State Park in Ashland. All Professional Church Workers’ Conference
The Nebraska District will be combining the Fall Pastors’ Conference and Educators’ Conference in 2017 to host a conference for all church workers in the District. The conference will be held at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. Registration is $130 per person and covers all conference sessions, lunch on Thursday, breakfast on Friday, and snacks. Mark your calendars and plan to attend together as a staff.
The conference will also include super-sectionals for select ministry groups as well as 3 smaller breakout sessions covering a wide variety of topics for ministry and education.
