Circuit Informational Meetings
Following the District’s planning study and the Board of Directors’ decision to move forward with a Districtwide capital campaign, President Snow has scheduled a series of informational sessions throughout the District. These meetings will allow pastors, along with any lay members wishing to attend, the opportunity to hear how your congregation could benefit through a partnership with the District. RSVPs are encouraged. Please email Joyce Bruha at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 888-643-2961 and ask for Joyce. For a recap of the results from the study, please click here.
Equip to Engage Workshop, Peace, Grand Island
Many people today are disconnected from God and His Church, but Jesus gives His followers everything they need to be His witnesses to those in their community who most need to hear the loving message of Jesus Christ.
This workshop is a chance to step back from the everyday tasks and examine the needs of your community, the gifts of your congregation, and how God might use you to bring His peace, hope and love to a hurting community.
Participants will be given tools to help them be encouragers when they return to their congregations in order to share what they have learned and get more people involved in reaching out to the community. Circuit visitors or their representatives will also be given resources to help them encourage and share these ideas with others in their circuits who have opportunities to engage new people or start new ministries in their areas.
